Proposition of Treaty on the Status of the Ambassadors of Franche-Comté and the County of Sussex


Article 1:
The County of Sussex will provide, within its Chancellery, a suite available to the Ambassador of Franche-Comté. This suite will enjoy the same protection as that accorded to the Ambassador.
Franche-Comté will provide within its Chancellery a suite available to the Ambassador of Sussex. This suite will enjoy the same protection as that accorded to the Ambassador.


Article 2-1:
Ambassador of Franche-Comté has diplomatic immunity in all defined territory as belonging to the county of Sussex.
The Ambassador of Sussex has diplomatic immunity in all defined territory as belonging to Franche-Comté.

Article 2-2:
In the event of a serious misconduct by the Ambassador of Franche-Comté in Sussex, the Count may decide to lift such immunity, so that the culprit can be prosecuted and judged according to the laws of Sussex, on the territory of Sussex.
In the event of serious misconduct by Ambassador of Sussex in Franche-Comté, the Council of Franche-Comté may decide to lift such immunity, so that the culprit can be prosecuted and judged according to the laws of Franche-Comté, in Franche-Comté territory.

Article 2-3:
If the Ambassador Franche-Comté toSussex would commit a serious offense, the county of Sussex reserves the right to escort him/her to the border, and to no longer recognize him/her as Franche-Comté Ambassador to Sussex.
If the Ambassador of Sussex to Franche-Comté would commit a serious offense, Franche-Comté reserves the right to escort him/her to the border, and to no longer recognize him/her as à Ambassador of Sussex to Franche-Comté.

This departure would have value of banishment and the banished person could no longer assume any official duties in the territory from which he/she was banished, or enter without prior authorization from the county authorities during the statutory period of banishment.

Article 3:
In the case of an emergency, the Franc-Comte may require the departure of the Sussex Embassy. The Ambassador then has a period of one week to leave the territory of Franche-Comté.
In the case of an emergency, Sussex may require the departure of the Embassy of Franche-Comté. The Ambassador has a period of one week to leave the territory of Sussex.

Article 4:
Franche-Comté allows freedom of movement within its territory to the Ambassador of Sussex, his family and his people.
The county of Sussex allows freedom of movement on its territory to the Ambassador of Franche-Comté, his family and his people.

Article 5:
Franche-Comté is committed to protect and assist the Ambassador of Sussex across its territory and in all situations.
The county of Sussex is committed to protect and assist the Ambassador of Franche-Comté across its territory and in all situations.

Article 6:
If one of the two signatory counties wanted to change the present Treaty it should send a proposal with developed arguments for the Treaty changes to the other county, which could write a new proposal in the same way, or refuse it, or ratify the amendment which would enter into force with the signature of the amended Treaty and would bring about the cancellation of the present Treaty.


Article 7:
If one of the two signatory counties wanted to quash this Treaty, it would necessarily have to notify in writing the other county and justify this decision. The Treaty would therefore lapse one week after receipt of such document.

This Treaty would become null and void if one or the other signatories declared war on the other signatory county.

Puisque vous m'en parliez messire le Vicomte, je vais aller de ce pas voir où en est l'ambassadrice Vérania dans son tour des Terres de l'Angle. Sans doute aura-t-elle des nouvelles ou pourra-t-elle aller en quérir sous peu.

Si, mais rien de neuf concernant le traité, leur chancellerie est très lente apparemment...

bah j'ai connu pire

une fois j'ai proposé un traité, j'ai été remplacé par casper et quand j'ai repris après lui le traité était enfin signé
